I think I’m going to make a new tumblr.

I’ll follow several of you again, but it is really ridiculous that social interaction with and acceptance from people who don’t even actually care about or know me is silly and it’s not a healthy way of thinking.

Sorry people, but I figuratively killed Alli Hypnotiq, the myspace whore version of me, a few years ago for a reason.

Internet addiction is a struggle of mine, but I’m trying to kick it. There is no way that can possibly happen with me sitting here, scrolling through this endless website.

I am in college, just got a job, have an amazing boyfriend, awesome friends here, and I need to be spending my time on more productive things, focusing on the real people in my life.

I’ve now had my (very slight and rather short-lived) taste of tumblr semi-fame (or what seemed like it to me), and I need to let it go.

I’ll still get on tumblr to check on my favorites and post on occasion, I’m sure, but no more of this posting all day every day obsession blog 2010 business.

For me, there is no such thing as a healthy addiction.
